George Floyd (born in 1974 – died May 25, 2020) was an American Security Officer from Houston, Texas, USA. However, he died in a deadly attack from the Minneapolis Police Team. A police officer named Derek Chauvin used his knee and pressed the neck of George.

The incident happened on May 25, 2020 (Monday). However, the black man could not survive from the attack and died during the medical procedure in the hospital.

The names of the other 3 accused police officers are Tou Thao, J. Alexander Kueng, and Thomas Lane.

Medaria Arradondo (Minneapolis Police Chief) talked about the reporters on the incident on Tuesday. The authorities have removed the guilty police officer from the job.

 

George Floyd was born in 1974 in Houston (Texas, United States). Moreover, his age is 46 years old. He lived in his native place with his mommy and daddy. Floyd secured average scores in the Yates High School and passed out in 1993. 

In his family, he has a brother named Philonise Floyd.

 

Still, he had not stated his marital status. Floyd was possessive about his private life. His girlfriend Courtney Ross asked the community people to help her. Ms. Ross wants to seek justice on the demise of her boyfriend George Floyd.

He also has a daughter Gianna Floyd From his ex-wife, Roxie Washington.

The couple shared two beautiful daughters whose names not found. Floyd shifted to Minnesota in 2014. However, he lost his job in the security department due to the coronavirus lockdown imposed in the United States.

They got the news of forgery. Police found a suspected person named George Floyd. Then, the investigating officers asked him to come out of the car. They realized that the person suffered from a medical issue.The MDP statement confirmed that no weapons used at that time. Only the knee pressure used to control the person.The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension also released a statement and told that they would share the names of the officials in the initial interviews.
