In addition, Reuter first served in the series from 2013 to 2014 and was a co-key makeup artist in 20 episodes of the show. Then, she became the makeup department head for OITNB between 2015 and 2016.

The late makeup artist was a married woman. She tied the knot with her husband “Steven Kozlowski” on September 02, 2017. Their wedding ceremony was a private affair and only a few people were invited.

According to a source, the former couple began their relationship in 2012. After her death, Steven published an emotional message and said that she was a wonderful wife. Karen also had four children from her previous affair.

On July 28, 2019, her kid, Simone, also posted a message after the episode “The Big House” paid tribute to the Reuter. She wrote on her Instagram account that she was very thankful to the makers of the “Orange Is The New Black”.

They dedicated one episode to her mother in Karen’s memory. Simone stated that her mom was a wonderful, hardworking, cool, and loving person.
